Event Details

The contest was held in 5 cities – Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru & Chennai. The initial ideas were submitted to the jury
to shortlist 8 finalists.

The finalists were given 15 days to completely detail out their idea into a detailed presentation with a working plan of execution, including budgets and timelines (Non-financial professional support was provided by us at this stage).

The finalists (up to a 2 member team) were hosted in New Delhi for 3 days and 2 nights weekend, where they were mentored by Industry specialists who also helped them prepare for the grand finale, where they made a presentation to a prominent national jury
and an esteemed audience.

Winners were announced the same evening for bringing in the BIG CHANGE.

    Mr. Rana Som is a well-known consultant in the field of metals and mining. He is on the boards of numerous public and private sector companies.

    He is best known as the architect of mining PSU, Hindustan Copper’s stellar turnaround and for successfully expanding National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) operations nationally and internationally.

    He has been an author of several articles and speaker in a number of national and international forums. He has also authored a book ‘The Sleeping Tigers’ which has evoked interest in India and abroad.

  • Mr. Subir Gupta

    IIT Delhi Alumni (1975-80 batch)

    Mr. Subir Gupta is the Founding Partner at Sustainability Advisors which promotes sustainable solutions for organizations.

    A former Chief Executive – India at Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and Senior Advisor at present, he has made significant contributions in developing the regulatory framework for hazardous chemicals management and waste management, along with developing the Sustainable Development Framework for the mining sector.

    He is a senior member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), member of the All India Management Association, and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Directors.

  • Mr. Deepak Kumar Swain

    Mr. Deepak Kumar Swain is the youngest MD and Country Head of Kongsberg Digital India. An alumnus of Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, he has extensive experience in international business with various industries such as Telecom, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Utilities and Maritime.

    He is responsible for building Kongesberg DigitaI's India business, overseeing its transformation into a leading digital company and strengthening its position in India.

  • Mr. Deepangshu Dev Sarmah

    Mr. Deepangshu Dev Sarmah is the founder editor-in-chief at Auto Tech Review and Head of Professional Publishing (B2B) at Springer Nature India.

    A key planner and strategist, he possesses proficiency in development and implementation of business strategies and product positioning, plans and policies.

    In his current capacity as editor-in-chief, he is driving editorial excellence with quality content for print, web and events (conferences & seminars). As the head of the Professional Publishing, he is currently spearheading a project to build a comprehensive driver training programme in sync with the Central Government’s mission of bringing down traffic-related deaths by half.

Regulations of Participation in H SOCIAL CREATOR (HSC) 2019
SEPTEMBER 2019 ONWARDS
General principles

1.Definitions

  • a.The Event - The [HSC 2019] event is being organised FROM SEPT 2019, in DELHI NCR, MUMBAI, PUNE, BENGALURU & CHENNAI.

  • b.Organizer - [ASSET COMMUNICATIONS PVT LTD], having its registered in [29, TUSHAR, 15TH ROAD, KHAR WEST, MUMBAI 400052).

  • c.Registration system, hereinafter referred to as the System - An Internet application, owned by [HYUNDAI MOTOR INDIA FOUNDATION], which enables the supporting of the registering process for participants of the event.

  • d.User - Every person that uses the System to register for the event.

  • e.Participant - Natural persons, who are ATLEAST 15 years old, residents of India and have full capacity to perform acts in law, as well as legal persons and organisational units that do not have legal personality, but which are able to acquire rights and assume obligations in their own name, and which used the System to correctly register for the event, until [OCTOBER 30th 2019].

2.Additional provisions and information

  • a.The official event registration website is: www.hsocialcreator.in

  • c.Registration system, hereinafter referred to as the System - An Internet application, owned by [HYUNDAI MOTOR INDIA FOUNDATION], which enables the supporting of the registering process for participants of the event.

  • d.User - Every person that uses the System to register for the event.

  • e.Participant - Natural persons, who are ATLEAST 15 years old, residents of India and have full capacity to perform acts in law, as well as legal persons and organisational units that do not have legal personality, but which are able to acquire rights and assume obligations in their own name, and which used the System to correctly register for the event, until [OCTOBER 30th 2019].

Terms and conditions of participation

1.To participate in the event Participants must:

  • a.Register for the event, which can be done exclusively via an on-line form available at the website or via a video / word document uploaded via whatsapp on 961-961-5115

  • b. The Organiser reserves a right to modify the the agenda for reasons beyond its control. The Organiser shall not be held liable in any way for damages vis-à-vis the Participants in such event.

  • c.The decision of any and all jury members either individually or collectively or both shall be final and binding on all participants.

2.The Organiser reserves a right to alter the event date for reasons beyond its control. In such event, Participants shall have a right to cancel their participation. The Organiser shall not be responsible for covering any additional expenses of the Participants made in association with the event.

On-line event registration

1.Participants can only register for the event via an on-line form available at the address www.hsocialcreator.in or via a video / word document uploaded via whatsapp on 961-961-5115

2.The event shall be open for registration from September 23rd, 2019 until the last available place has been booked, but in any case no longer than until OCTOBER 30th, 2019.

3.During their registration process, participants must fill all fields marked (*).

4.Participants thereby guarantee that all the details filled in is correct.

5.When the registration form has been filled in and the data confirmed the system sends a message to the email address provided in the form, thus confirming the registration.

Permission to use image

1.During the event, the Organiser may arrange photo sessions and may film the course of the event for the purposes of broadcasting in the media (TV, radio, Internet, press) or for the purposes of documentation, marketing, or advertising for the Organiser or other parties named by the Organiser. By participating in the event Participants give their implicit permission for the recording, use an/or dissemination by the Organiser, parties related to it of each Participant’s image, voice, expression in any promotional and marketing materials without limitation of time or territory.

2.This permission means specifically that photo, video and audio recordings taken during he event may be placed on the event website or another website managed by the Organiser, as well as used in marketing materials, including by dissemination in audio or video formats. The Participants hereby wave any claims (existing or future), including for compensation from the Organiser for such use of their image, voice or expression for the purposes defined hereunder.

Final provisions

1.The Organizer shall act as the administrator of personal data of the Participants

2.Personal data of the Participant’s collected by the Organizer from the event participation form shall be processed for the event organisation purposes in accordance with the Regulations.

3.Without their knowledge and consent, personal data of the Participant of the event shall not be transferred to any other data administrators.

4.The disclosure of personal data shall be voluntary and the Participants have a right to access and modify their personal data.

The Organizer reserves the right to use the email address specified when registering for the event to send notifications to Participants of the event, including about changes in the event programme or the Regulations

6.The Organiser reserves the right to make changes in the Regulations. Upon an announcement by the Organiser of any changes to the Regulations, each Participant registered for the event should immediately read such changes. Participants who do not accept any of the changes should notify of their position to the Organiser in writing via electronic channels at clipsy@assetfzc.com. The notification should reach the Organiser within 3 days from the entering into force of such changed Regulations in failure of which the Organiser shall regard the changed Regulations to have been fully accepted by the Participants.

7.The Organiser can be contacted via electronic mail at clipsy@assetfzc.com.

8.Any disputes arising in relation to the event participation shall be decided by courts with jurisdiction for the Organiser.

9.The Organisers shall not be liable whatsoever for the Participants’ property that may be lost, destroyed or stolen during the event

10.By registering, Participants accept these Regulations.

H-Social Creator

H-Social Creator is a Hyundai Motor India Foundation CSR initiative to bring change in our society. H-Social Creator is a Planning Program through which youth come up with creative ideas to resolve Social Issues and then give shape to their ideas.

Launched first in South Korea, in 2015, HSC is now being brought to India by Hyundai Motor India Foundation. We are coming to your Campus to look for that one talent who can give us a path breaking idea and Hyundai Motor India Foundation will invest a seed capital of Rs. 15 lakhs into the idea to help create the much needed social change with it, thereby making the winner a master of impact.

Upload your entry of your BIG IDEA via a maximum 60 seconds video or a one page word document, by OCTOBER 30th, 2019. You can also WhatsApp your idea via video or a word document as stated, with your complete details (name, address, phone number, age, college, current academic status) on 961-961-5115.

The program has served as a platform to hundreds of revolutionary ideas.

We recommend ‘Design Thinking’. The methodology of which is as follows :

  • Define the problem
  • Ideation
  • Planning/Prototyping
  • Pilot/Test

The Social issues (topics for your innovative ideas) to choose from and focus on are A) Road Safety, B) Environment & C) Clean India. You can submit minimum 1 idea of solution from either of the issues. If you would like to submit more ideas, please fill in separate entries for the same. We advise and strongly recommend an in-depth research and evaluation into your topic and its potential solution that you would like to undertake / lead / launch before submitting your entry. Feasibility will be an extremely important criteria to progress in the competition.
