The H-Social Creator Program

The 1st edition of the H-Social Creator was held in 5 cities - Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai. 10 Finalists were shortlisted by the jury to work on a detailed presentation and were hosted in New Delhi over the FINALE weekend.

However, there was an element of surprise for the finalists as 2 finalists were adjudged joint winners by the Grand Jury.

    Alumni of Calcutta University

    Mr. Rana Som is a well-known consultant in the field of metals and mining. He is on the boards of numerous public and private sector companies.

    He is best known as the architect of mining PSU, Hindustan Copper’s stellar turnaround and for successfully expanding National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) operations nationally and internationally.

    He has been an author of several articles and speaker in a number of national and international forums. He has also authored a book ‘The Sleeping Tigers’ which has evoked interest in India and abroad.

  • Mr. Subir Gupta

    IIT Delhi Alumni (1975-80 batch)

    Mr. Subir Gupta is the Founding Partner at Sustainability Advisors which promotes sustainable solutions for organizations.

    A former Chief Executive – India at Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and Senior Advisor at present, he has made significant contributions in developing the regulatory framework for hazardous chemicals management and waste management, along with developing the Sustainable Development Framework for the mining sector.

    He is a senior member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), member of the All India Management Association, and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Directors.

  • Mr. Deepak Kumar Swain

    Mr. Deepak Kumar Swain is the youngest MD and Country Head of Kongsberg Digital India. An alumnus of Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, he has extensive experience in international business with various industries such as Telecom, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Utilities and Maritime.

    He is responsible for building Kongesberg DigitaI's India business, overseeing its transformation into a leading digital company and strengthening its position in India.

  • Mr. Deepangshu Dev Sarmah

    Mr. Deepangshu Dev Sarmah is the founder editor-in-chief at Auto Tech Review and Head of Professional Publishing (B2B) at Springer Nature India.

    A key planner and strategist, he possesses proficiency in development and implementation of business strategies and product positioning, plans and policies.

Regulations of Participation in H SOCIAL CREATOR (HSC) 2020
December 2020 ONWARDS
General principles

1.Definitions

  • a.The Event - The [HSC 2020] event is being organised FROM DEC 2020. Due to Covid 19, this event is being promoted on line and will reach out to some of the leading colleges

  • b.Organizer - [ASSET COMMUNICATIONS PVT LTD], having its registered in [29, TUSHAR, 15TH ROAD, KHAR WEST, MUMBAI 400052).

  • c.Registration system, hereinafter referred to as the System - An Internet application, owned by [HYUNDAI MOTOR INDIA FOUNDATION], which enables the supporting of the registering process for participants of the event.

  • d.User - Every person that uses the System to register for the event.

  • e.Participant - Natural persons, who are ATLEAST 16 years old, residents of India and have full capacity to perform acts in law, as well as legal persons and organisational units that do not have legal personality, but which are able to acquire rights and assume obligations in their own name, and which used the System to correctly register for the event, until March 2021

2.Additional provisions and information

  • a.The official event registration website is: hsocialcreator.in

Terms and conditions of participation

1.To participate in the event Participants must:

  • a.Register for the event, which can be done exclusively via an on-line form available at the website or via a video / word document uploaded via whatsapp on 961-961-5115

  • b. The Organiser reserves the right to modify the agenda for reasons beyond its control. The Organiser shall not be held liable in any way for damages vis-à-vis the Participants in such event.

  • c.The decision of any and all jury members either individually or collectively or both shall be final and binding on all participants.

2.The Organiser reserves the right to alter the event date for reasons beyond its control. In such event, Participants shall have a right to cancel their participation. The Organiser shall not be responsible for covering any additional expenses of the Participants made in association with the event.

On-line event registration

1.Participants can only register for the event via an on-line form available at the address hsocialcreator.in or via a video / word document uploaded via whatsapp on 961-961-5115

2.The event shall be open for registration from December 23rd, 2020 until the last available place has been booked, but in any case no longer than until February 15th, 2021.

3.During their registration process, participants must fill all fields marked (*).

4.Participants thereby guarantee that all the details filled in is correct.

5.When the registration form has been filled in and the data confirmed the system sends a message to the email address provided in the form, thus confirming the registration.

Permission to use image

1.During the event, the Organiser may arrange photo sessions and may film the course of the event for the purposes of broadcasting in the media (TV, radio, Internet, press) or for the purposes of documentation, marketing, or advertising for the Organiser or other parties named by the Organiser. By participating in the event Participants give their implicit permission for the recording, use an/or dissemination by the Organiser, parties related to it of each Participant’s image, voice, expression in any promotional and marketing materials without limitation of time or territory.

2.This permission means specifically that photo, video and audio recordings taken during the event may be placed on the event website or another website managed by the Organiser, as well as used in marketing materials, including by dissemination in audio or video formats. The Participants hereby wave any claims (existing or future), including for compensation from the Organiser for such use of their image, voice or expression for the purposes defined hereunder.

Final provisions

1.The Organizer shall act as the administrator of personal data of the Participants

2.Personal data of the Participant’s collected by the Organizer from the event participation form shall be processed for the event organisation purposes in accordance with the Regulations.

3.Without their knowledge and consent, personal data of the Participant of the event shall not be transferred to any other data administrators.

4.The disclosure of personal data shall be voluntary and the Participants have a right to access and modify their personal data.

The Organizer reserves the right to use the email address specified when registering for the event to send notifications to Participants of the event, including about changes in the event programme or the Regulations

6.The Organiser reserves the right to make changes in the Regulations. Upon an announcement by the Organiser of any changes to the Regulations, each Participant registered for the event should immediately read such changes. Participants who do not accept any of the changes should notify of their position to the Organiser in writing via electronic channels at The notification should reach the Organiser within 3 days from the entering into force of such changed Regulations in failure of which the Organiser shall regard the changed Regulations to have been fully accepted by the Participants.

8.Any disputes arising in relation to the event participation shall be decided by courts with jurisdiction for the Organiser.

9.The Organisers shall not be liable whatsoever for the Participants’ property that may be lost, destroyed or stolen during the event
